Domain Subscription

💡 New in v2.0.0: Multi-Domain Management CrowdVision now allows you to switch between different organizations seamlessly with a single account. No more juggling multiple logins for different campuses or office buildings!

In CrowdVision, a Domain represents a distinct organization or physical environment (for example, a university campus, a corporate headquarters, or a shopping mall).

Depending on your permissions, you can browse, join, and switch between various domains directly from your dashboard.

🌍 Managing Your Memberships

To manage the organizations you belong to, navigate to the Domain Management page via the main dashboard. Here, you will see a list of all available domains.

Subscribing to a Domain

If a domain is public, you can easily add it to your profile to view its Digital Twin and real-time sensor data.

  1. Browse or search for the organization in the Domain List.
  2. Click the Subscribe button next to the domain name.
  3. You will immediately join as a “Viewer” (Standard Customer) and gain access to their public building data.

â„šī¸ Note on External Logins: If an organization uses an external secure login system (like their own corporate portal), clicking “Subscribe” will securely redirect you to their page to verify your identity before granting access.

Switching Domains

Once you are subscribed to multiple domains, you can switch between them at any time. Selecting a different domain will instantly reload the Dashboard and the 3D Digital Twin to reflect the new organization’s data.

Unsubscribing

Need to clean up your profile? If you no longer need to monitor an organization, locate the domain in your list and click Leave to unsubscribe and remove it from your active view.

đŸ› ī¸ For Administrators: Creating Domains

If you have administrative privileges, you will also have the ability to Create new domains for your organization.

To do this:

  1. Click the + Add button to open the domain creation wizard.
  2. Enter the Main Domain identifier (e.g., mycompany.com).
  3. Choose how users will authenticate.
  4. (Optional) Add subdomains for related branches or departments (e.g., warehouse.mycompany.com).
