The Digital Twin

The Model View is the heart of CrowdVision. It offers an interactive 3D representation of your building, allowing you to visually locate rooms, check their physical layout, and manage their underlying properties.

πŸŽ›οΈ The Control Panel

Located at the bottom center of the screen, the control panel provides quick actions to manipulate the 3D camera:

πŸ’₯Focus on RoomAlso known as “Explode” mode. Isolates the currently selected room by expanding the view, allowing you to see it clearly apart from the rest of the building structure.
βž•Zoom InMoves the camera closer to the structure.
βž–Zoom OutMoves the camera further away.
πŸŽ₯Panorama ModeToggles a smooth, automatic rotation of the buildingβ€”perfect for showcase purposes or wall displays.

🏒 Managing Buildings & Floors (Left Menu)

The sidebar on the left side of the screen is your structural navigator. It allows you to:

  1. Select Building: Choose which building structure to visualize from your domain.
  2. Filter by Floor: Click on a specific floor number. This will automatically hide all other floors, allowing you to focus purely on that level.

πŸ“ Room Details & Editing (Right Menu)

Whenever you select a room in the 3D view, a dedicated panel appears on the right side of the screen displaying its specific live details.

πŸ”’ Permissions Note: Editing room parameters requires higher organizational permissions (such as Business Staff or Admin). Standard Customers can only view the data.

How to edit a room:

  1. Select a room in the 3D view.
  2. Click the Edit button in the right panel.
  3. You can modify the following fields:
    • Room ID: The unique name or number of the room.
    • Capacity: The maximum safe number of people allowed.
    • Max Temperature: The specific threshold that triggers temperature alerts (the default is 28Β°C).
    • Theme Color: The color used to represent the room visually in charts or panel headers.
  4. Click Save to apply the changes instantly.
