Using the Assistant

The CrowdVision Assistant is a chat helper tucked into the corner of the app. Ask it questions in plain language about your buildings, your rooms, current occupancy, or how CrowdVision works, and it answers using your live data and the product documentation.

Starting a chat

Open the chat widget from its button in the corner of the screen, type your question, and send it. You must be logged in to send messages or access saved conversations. The assistant replies in the same window.

Your conversations are saved, so you can:

A new conversation is automatically named after your first question, so your history stays easy to scan.

What you can ask

Ask aboutExample
Live building and room state“Which rooms are the most crowded right now?”
Occupancy versus capacity“How full is the main hall compared to its capacity?”
How the platform works“How do I add a column to the dashboard table?”
Concepts and features“What’s the difference between a domain admin and staff?”

When the answer comes from the documentation, the assistant includes the sources it used, so you can check where the information came from.

What it will not answer

The assistant is focused only on CrowdVision. If you ask it something outside that — general knowledge, maths, coding help, translation, or other unrelated requests — it should politely say it can only help with CrowdVision rather than answer. This is deliberate: it is an assistant for your buildings and the platform, not a general-purpose chatbot.
