Business Requirements

Business Requirements capture why CrowdVision exists, who it serves, and the non-negotiable constraints that shape every decision downstream. They sit above user stories: stories detail what users need, BRs explain why those needs matter to the business.

Vision & Purpose

CrowdVision is a digital-twin platform for real-time building intelligence and management. It surfaces occupancy, environmental conditions, and spatial data as an interactive 3D model, giving facility operators and administrators a unified, intuitive view of complex spaces — replacing fragmented sensor dashboards and manual inspection with live, actionable data.

Target Market

Business Model

SaaS Subscription Model (per organization)

Deployment Options

  1. Shared SaaS (managed) — CrowdVision-hosted, multi-tenant, included in subscription cost
  2. Dedicated Hosting — Single-tenant instance on CrowdVision infrastructure, premium price
  3. Self-Hosted Licensing — Organization deploys in their own infrastructure (cloud or on-premise), one-time or annual license fee + support contract

Rationale: Multi-tenant SaaS reaches broad market; dedicated hosting captures price-insensitive, compliance-sensitive segments; self-hosted licensing enables air-gapped deployments and gives large enterprises optionality.

Geographic & Regulatory Scope

Primary market: Europe, with initial focus on Italy

Regulatory compliance required:

Data residency: EU data must reside in EU infrastructure; no default transfer to US or other regions without explicit opt-in and legal basis.
